Maribel grew up in Virginia and was raised by her parents and siblings, though details about them are scarce. At the age of a young girl and wanted to be a lawyer, she hoped to get in the legal profession to become an attorney. When her high school graduation was over, she was accepted into the University of Virginia to pursue a major in German and a minor in foreign Policy. The university is one of the most historically rich universities within the US with its roots dating back to 1819 when it was founded in 1819 by Thomas Jefferson, one of the people who wrote the Declaration of Independence. More than a century of educational programs are offered by the school and was constructed around the Jefferson's Academical Village - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The university covers 1,600 acres for the main campus, plus hundreds of acres in its research park and farm. Maribel continued her education in New York Law School after completing her undergraduate degree. She is now pursuing a Juris Doctor.
